Media Release - Lucinda Beach Erosion Works

Council wishes to advise Lucinda residents and visitors that works to address beach erosion will commence Wednesday 23 October 2024 north of Johnson Park Lucinda.

During this time, the Lucinda foreshore and beach area between Lions Park and Johnson Park (adjacent to Patterson Parade Lucinda) will be closed due to heavy machinery operation, including sand back-passing activities.

Please note that machinery will operate along the foreshore during low tide in daylight hours. The area will stay closed to the public until work is completed, expected by Monday 28 October 2024, weather permitting.

Council appreciates the cooperation and patience and apologises for any inconvenience this may cause.
