Additional or New Bin Service

How to apply for an additional or new Service

To be eligible for a new household waste collection service at a newly built dwelling, a final building certificate needs to be issued to Council first. Council will then send you a New Cleansing Service Application Form which you will need to return to Council completed and signed. Afterwards, MAMS will contact you to discuss options for delivery or collection of new wheelie bins to your property.

Where Council has approved occupancy of a premise prior to the issuing of a final building certificate, the owner of the property can request commencement of the service upon receiving a Temporary Residence Permit. The associated cleansing charges will be added to the rates on the property upon delivery of the bins.

Where an occupant would like to access additional household waste collection services, a request can be put through from the owner of the property and an additional cost will be charged against the rates on the property. Simply contact Council to request an Additional Service Application Form.

Please note that a vacant block of land is not eligible for domestic wheelie bins. For further information please contact Council on 4776 4600.
